Introducing Swish

Stock Desktop Widget celebrated its 5th anniversary this year.

What started as a utility to better stay up to date with my investments has grown to become widely used around the globe. It is now among the top 3 personal finance apps for Windows -- not because of our massive advertising budget, but because our happy customers tell their friends!

Thank you for every piece of feedback, every email, and every interaction over the years. The app would not be what it is today without your constructive feedback. I am deeply humbled by it. Your feedback continues to shape the product to this day (I read every email).

In order to sustainably deliver and evolve the product, I have decided to introduce a new overhaul of the app, alongside a new name: Swish Finance.

I am also introducing new monthly and annual licenses at more accessible price points. Trying out Swish Pro is now lower risk and easier than ever for new users. These new options ensure sustainability of the product, in addition to paving the way for new features, more data sources, etc.

I am not discontinuing lifetime (non-recurring) licenses. I have always believed in the value of software ownership, which is why the lifetime license has been the core of Swish. This philosophy is not changing. Subscriptions offer flexibility, but the lifetime license remains for those who want to own their tools. Existing customers will continue to enjoy the same experience at no additional cost.
